Forging new links
On May 1, a new Explicit Project secondment started in Naples, Italy. Enrico Vellante and the remain team of 012factory welcomed PhD student Joana Amorim from the University of Vigo.
The secondment took place at the headquarters of 012factory, a certified incubator for innovative start-ups that supports, develops, and accompanies the growth of new companies with high innovation potential, from the idea of a start-up to its actual transformation into an innovative company active on the market.
This secondment comes at a very opportune moment since 012factory works not only with several start-ups and smart-manufacturing companies but also is distinguished by the organizational environment, defending the title of B-Corp.
During the secondment, PhD student Joana Amorim accompanied Co-Founder Enrico Vellante and the rest of the 012factory team in their daily work, advising companies about the existent financial incentives and the development of crucial skills for nowadays work environment with 012factory academy.
The PhD student Joana Amorim also started to develop a project regarding the development of essential skills in the work environment for the application to the Erasmus+ Project and the orientation of Enrico Vellante. And had the opportunity to participate in two conferences regarding the subject of Sustainability and Innovation. One of them in Universitá degli Studi Napoli “Parthenope” and other at Asi Salerno.
The secondee was also welcomed at the Universitá degli Studi Napoli “Parthenope” by Renato Passaro where some ideas were exchanged on the research areas of the participants and possible scenarios for future research in the field of digital transformation, innovation competencies, circular economy and smart manufacturing was discussed. Afterwards, all participants agreed to proceed with the projects started during this time and maintain contact to work on the identified subjects and deepen the contact between institutions.
